Block 8:

Block 8 is located between Block 7 and Block 10 which all run along the western bypass. The Barclays circle and Airport Junction Traffic lights are the main entry points to block 8, as well as one entrance off the Western bypass traveling North. Block 8 is situated next to block 10 which has the popular Airport Junction Mall. Block 8 has various schools, both government and private. Livingston Kolobeng, Al Nur Islamic school, Gaborone International School and New Era College are all located in block 8. It is very close proximity to the Airport. There is a Hindu temple and various Churches. There are also a few small shopping complexes within block 8 with Choppies supermarket and other stores. There is also a clinic. As with most of the areas and blocks, a lot of the areas are tarred but there are still a few locations where the roads are gravel. There is also a Labour department office located opposite Alnur School behind New Era College.
