OVERVIEW:
Phakalane is located about 15kms north of Gaborone and is easily accessible via the A1 dual carriageway or using "the back road" (as it is affectionately known) connecting to the Glen Valley BDF Barracks and Botlhale International School. The area started off as an agricultural farm which evolved into a small residential neighbourhood and over the years has experienced significant growth in to almost a self-contained town. There are two shopping malls, several schools (nursery, primary and secondary), a wide selection of restaurants, a cinema, petrol stations, doctors, dentists and opticians, chemists, beauty salons, a gym and a fantastic 18-hole golf course. It really is a self-contained suburb for those wanting to live out of the main City areas. Phakalane is home to the highly sought after Phakalane Golf Estate which provides high security, family friendly, large homes. Properties on the golf estate are in high demand and provide gorgeous homes to rent or buy for all sizes of families.
Phakalane also has a large (and growing) commercial and industrial area featuring many different scale of business from small office use to large manufacturing plants.

The commercial area of Phakalane runs adjacent to the A1 road which joins the north and south regions of the country. It has great access to major transport routes and several of the plots have rail access. Within the commercial area are several modern office blocks offering smaller space and shared amenities.
